The Carcano is an Italian Sniper Rifle; it is the second unlocked rifle in Sniper Elite III.
Sniper Elite 3[]

The Carcano is the second rifle that can be unlocked in the game: it is a decent six round bolt action rifle. Unscoped versions are commonly used by Italian soldiers and Elites.
Sniper Elite 4[]
"The bolt action Modello 91 Carcano was developed in Turin in 1890 and saw production and use through both world wars. The long barrelled in 1941 version was adopted as an Infantry rifle by the Italian military, but a standard sniper variant was never widely manufactured."
The Carcano, like before, is used by Italian infantry and RSI paratroopers. Scoped versions are used by Snipers.
